<img src="/images/logos/uTor.png" class="logo" alt="uTorrent" title="uTorrent" />uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange.

Good update. The earlier 2.0.4.21515 version created havoc on my favourite music tracker site. "The uTorrent team has acknowledged the problem, and has pulled the release from their official website."

I experienced some tracker errors with Demonoid but I just assumed it was Demonoid servers that had the problem given their past history. ^_^

Finally, I've disabled uTP. Gave me half upload speeds and those where inconsistent. TCP gives almost full and consistent speeds. ^_^

It's not recommended as uTP is an advanced protocol and you'll have some trouble surfing internet when uTorrent is on(unless you have cFosSpeed installed).

ANW, Tools > Options > Preferences > Bittorrent > Uncheck Enable bandwidth management (uTP).
