UltraISO Premium Edition 9.36 Build 2750

Hi:

I don't know if this is the right section for this post or not.

I downloaded UltraISO Premium Edition 9.36 Build 2750 and my malwarebytes told me that there was a trojan inside of the keygen package. The trojan is one called Trojan.Agent.CK. :fear:

I try to be careful when downloading anything and I don't want to take chances. So, I would like to know if anyone else has had this issue with the UltraISO Premium Edition 9.36 Build 2750 keygen file?

Thanks,

Did you download it from proxy.nsanedown.com? If yes then it's false positive. We don't host malware on the sites. ;)

Hello DKT27:

What do you mean by proxy.nsanedown.com? Are you referring to the screen that you're taken to when downloading? If that is the case then yes that's how or rather where I downloaded it from.

Why is my malwarebytes telling me that I have Trojan.Agent.CK if that isn't the case? Not to be a pain here but is there some process that you guys go through when it comes to keygens etc. on your site to let you know if they are clean?

if you got it from us, it's just false positive, since we don't host infected medicine on our proxy

Did you download it from here? If yes, it's a false positive. The keygen is clean, it's just that most of the Anti-Viruses/Anti-Malware like to falsely flag keygens, patches... as malware. ;)

This is the only place I download software from.

DKT27:

I downloaded it from http://proxy.nsanedown.com/proxy.php?file=UltraISO.Premium.v9.3.5.KeyGen-ZWT.rar

I download the Ultra ISO software itself from this site http://anonymz.com/?http://www.mediafire.com/?naytzdnjzmw

Are these the correct/safe download urls?

Those two are the links we have posted. And yes, as I said above, it's totally safe. :)

yep, those are the safe links

and I'll answer your previous question, with another question

As a software engineer, wouldn't you also wanna protect your work, from being illegally registered by mailing av companies to include the latest fix(s) for your software into their database?

*Thinking* :s

Ohhhh. Now I get it (I think...). You mean that the software companies send the fix to the AV companies and if you use the AV software to scan the file it will falsely tell you that you have a virus to discourage you from using the software?

Yep, you got it :)

Also a lot of keygenners/patchers protect their work to avoid it being ripped and these protection measures are spotted by AVs and marked as possible variants of some virus, not sure exactly why though.

Edit: forgot to mention, pretty sure I never mentioned this before, but we have a 100% clean fix rate going on here and I don't think this will ever change :)

If it will, we'll let you know out front  :P

They discourage you from using the fix, not the software. ;)

@lapetite66:

Indeed. Besides, there would be no merit for us in hosting malware ^_^

We could create a GIANT botnet and steal money from the US government, no?

:P
