"However Mozilla is serving the Candidate builds of Beta 3 development milestone and it can be grabbed from Mozilla’s FTP servers. These builds are nightly builds and not the actual Firefox 4 Beta 3 release and will go through more testing before turn to official release."

Edit: Seems that the next week is this week, so I think it's the real deal after all! Sorry!

I am not concerned with the speed, but with the bugs. Final is the way to go...

There will be several betas after this one. It`s too early to start using beta 3 for me...Maybe beta 6 . :)

I have to disagree, I've been using this thing now that Speed Dial works with it. It hasn't crashed and I've had it testing for a good few days visiting many different Websites, even the 'stable' Firefox has crashed more during this same period if I recall correctly!

This new beta seems quicker from the benchmarks posted so I'm gonna get it soon. Only downside is that there's no British english version, so I can't use the quick toolbar on the top right as it keeps going to the US version.

@bashar: It seems to me that Adblock + does work in Beta 3. See the pic above.

Here go to this site.

Credit for letting me know about the site goes to Toyo. :)

The numbers may differ on different speed of the systems. I turn my computer to full power and speed and then benchmark it. Also don't use the computer at all, during benchmark.

Go into about:config and enter this:

New –> Boolean and type for 4.0 Beta: "extensions.checkCompatibility.4.0b" Then set the value to false.

Now you can install most all of your addons. Works for me.
