Administrator Lite Posted February 22, 2007 Administrator Share Posted February 22, 2007 I reccomend you disable automatic restarts(i'm assuming Windows XP... any other OS let me know); WindowsKey+Break > Advanced > Startup & Recovery. This way you should get a bluescreen incase of a system failure. Next time you get a blue screen, post the error code (you could for example use your digital camara to take a picture of the screen) or write down the STOP code (and any named files/ drivers etc). Guest MindLess
ok when the blue screen comes up it says stop and 0x000000c2 (0x00000007,0x00000cd4,0x000010df,0xb4890001) thats how it gives it to u and says it
Administrator Lite Posted February 23, 2007 Administrator Share Posted February 23, 2007 That stop error is caused by a driver problem: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314492/I reccomend you reinstall/ update all your software drivers (and run windows update) to see if that solves the issue. If not post back...
Guest MindLess
Ok well i think that fixed that error but now it came up with a new one it is 0x0000007e then it said nl4.disp.dll - address bfa98dde base at bf9d4000
Administrator Lite Posted February 25, 2007 Administrator Share Posted February 25, 2007 That ones linked to your graphics card drivers.I can't find as much information on that one. However, can i reccomend you uninstall your graphics card drivers, use Driver Cleaner, then reinstall a fresh copy.I'd also reccomend you test you run a disk check and a memory check.
