Bizarre™
uTorrent is an efficient and feature rich BitTorrent client for Windows sporting a very small footprint. It was designed to use as little cpu, memory and space as possible while offering all the functionality expected from advanced clients. With uTorrent, you can download files faster and contribute by sharing files and bandwidth. Additionally, uTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange. Thanks to SacredCultivator for the update.Download

*dcs18
Thanks for the info. man - I'd uninstalled the older V2 before installing V3 (tried installers from various sources.) :frusty:
SacredCultivator
Interesting, not sure why there were problems installing. Only thing I noticed when installing over my 2.0.3 build was a kind of delay to get the program started (for installation), but no actual problems with installing. Administrator DKT27 Posted August 1, 2010 Administrator Share Posted August 1, 2010 Once heard that you should delete all the files from C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent when you switch to new major versions. When I switched from v1.x to v2.0, I saw no changes in the GUI, it was only when heath28m told me to deleted the data, I was able to see the enhancements and was able to use it properly. *dcs18
Right guys, here's what I did before installing V3:-01.) Backed up the "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent" directory02.) Uninstalled V2 with 'Total Uninstaller Pro.'03.) Tried to install V3 - and the damn installer just sits tight and refuses to even respond.FWIW, have returned to V2 with the "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent" backup (which stores User defined settings.)
