Is it just me or(Size of Kaspersky Pure first update post install !)

Well installed Kaspersky Pure recently and the size of first update post install is a whooping 41.7mb. Took 50 min to update it.

Also getting around 1.2 to 1.4mb(at times 2.4mb)updates daily.

Seems a lot .

whats ur take on this .

Also does the type or nature of definition updates vary with one's geographical location or is it uniform globally.Shouldn't be after all its a pretty small world on the www.

No it is not just you, that's normal with any Kaspersky products anywhere. Take into account also that it was released several months ago, that explains tha size of the first update!!!! The longer the worst!!! I thought they were going to improve this item but they haven't. One thing I don't like about Kaspersky is the updating system. It is very slow especially compared to Eset Nod 32.!!!!
