nsane
1. OEM BIOSes usually won't let you for warranty reasons2. simply don't do it, you'll just burn up your CPU faster

martina
OC, especially your CPU, will almost surely result in higher cooling needs. this is more complicated on a laptop than on a desktop PC.that alone should get you to think twice before wanting to so without any possible need to really do so.further more, if not done carefully you might run into stability problems.to backup nsane's point, if there are no options in the BIOS to OC then it's going to be a little more difficult.to sum up, don't OC your laptop. ejams
I got my e6750 from 2.66 to 3.57 and its 60C on load. But I am using the Asus Commando with a Aftermarket cooler...If you want to overclock I just suggest getting a new computer that doesn't have locked setting and you can easily change things such as the CPU cooler. And sweet cases like the Antec 900 are very good for cooling.
