Warezist
It seems to good to be true yet the only catch is that its slightly slower on browsing. ...Though I'm sure paid VPN services are never as fast as the true connection.http://www.secureix.comIt has Fourteen days of retention for binaries. RoDrAs
I've already signed up and created the connection. To use newsgroups, with Newsleecher, what do I write in the username field? [email protected] or just RoDrAs? I can't login.
Warezist
[email protected] and then your password....Don't make the ''SecureIX'' case sensitive. Write it normally.

Warezist
When written correctly and you still can't connect that'll be just conjestion and just keep trying. Though its only been yesterday and maybe today that one of their servers were down which was creating connection issues.

NadaWTB
I am using it right now, the connection seems about as good as my regualr connection. I have connected to my hub without any problems and several of our UK users are finding it great for bypassing traffic shaping. I have yet to be able to connect to the newsgroups, but I will keep trying. This is truely a very nice service. :D

RoDrAs
Is it possible for me to get caught downloading by the MPAA if I'm not from the US (I'm from Portugal)?
Warezist
Downloading from UseNet is as 'safe as houses' in the most primary sense. :D Just keep away from kazaa and you should be fine. ;)Just to clarify - the top Four public-trackers/indexers and most popular P2P's should not give you any problems.BT - BTJunkie, Mininova, ThePirateBay, IsoHunt.P2P - Gnutella, eD2K, Kad, Overnet, SoulSeek. RoDrAs
I currently use BitTorrent (I mostly download torrents from isoHunt) and LimeWire. I wanted to try UseNet but my ISP doesn't have a newsgroup server, that's why I want to try this.

Q Can Fix IT
BE careful, this could be a RIAA / MPAA ploy, to get direct access to file sharers, remember they can't see what you're downloading, only that you were connected to certain trackers at certain times. most sensible trackers should be deleting their records just in case I know if I were someone in charge of RIAA or MPAA I would do exactly that, you have to get inside their heads and think of anything they might try against us, they are slimy, sneaky, turds that do more harm to the recording artists than good.Good luck all.
