When you buy apple you pay for steve jobs hair regeneration and bragging rights and an enlarged ego. Does it really matter though? All the parts made in China, most likely the same factory in Shen Zhen or Guan Zhao. I would pick brand based on geographical location, If I were in Texas then I'd buy Acer because their tech support building is in Texas.
