snippits
Thanks for the update.3.6.4., which was released on 6-22-10, was causing endless loop crashes because of the new plugin crash protecion. 3.6.4 was unuseable on my system because it just crashed over and over. Previously, 3.6.3 caused no problems."Firefox 3.6.6 modifies the crash protection feature to increase the amount of time that plugins are allowed to be non-responsive before being terminated."Now Firefox is stable again. I am sure that Mozilla got tons of crash reports, so thats why the latest update was quick on the heels of 3.6.4.

Night Owl
3.6.4., which was released on 6-22-10, was causing endless loop crashes because of the new plugin crash protecion. 3.6.4 was unuseable on my system because it just crashed over and over. Previously, 3.6.3 caused no problems.Yes, I had similar results too. Firefox 3.6.3 was rock solid. But 3.6.4 sometimes hangs and twice the browser just disappeared after a while and then restarted. Very frustrating. I was thinking of going back to rock-solid 3.6.3 before 3.6.6 came out.Hmmm, my Firefox 3.6.4 is still not auto-updating to 3.6.6.
snippits
@Night OwlServers are probably getting hammered.I just downloaded it, and then installed. No need to uninstall what is on your machine now because 3.6.6 will do an upgrade and then clean up.
