It supports 3.6.3 , i also now have done some google research , it seems that it takes a load off of the RAM and put it into your Virtual Memory, so you sacrifice CPU cycles for RAM .

This tool does not optimize Firefox. All it does is decrease usage of RAM.

The bad side in this is that Firefox will now use Virtual Memory.

Note: RAM is way faster than Virtual Memory.

Not aimed at you personally but:

Why do people think that applications are faster, or better, if they use less RAM. If something makes an application use less RAM it will more than likely slow it down, rather than speed it up. (Obviously starting the application would be faster, yeah.)

It is 'better' if programs use less RAM by default (better as in less resource intensive), but most programs (not considering bloatware, which, I confess, does rule out like 20-40% of most programs :P) need the memory they use and if you take it away, they will be sad :( Sad programs won't be fast :P

About this: as Biz said. VM is much slower than RAM, so better keep your Firefox in your RAM :)

LOL! When I say "leave firefox alone", I meant not to "optimize" it.

Its as fast as it should be, using higher RAM is normal.

Which new software don't use higher RAM? Adobe, Autodesk, IE8....etc, all use much more memory than previously.

Wait for version 4 of firefox....lets see how it goes.
