I bought a gaming rig a couple of years ago from Mesh Computers and upgraded a few componants before I ordered it. Overall I paid around £1300 for my system.

As soon as I get a regular income coming in my way I'll start saving for my next PC. WillI be going to Mesh again? No. Not because they're crap, far from it. They're one of the best builders over here with decent prices too.

The reason is I've learnt a hell of a lot these last 2 years that I'd feel just as comfortable building one myself, and save myself a small fortune in the process

builder = x-technology, cam with a 2.6Ghz Celeron2 (Prescott) with SSE3 support, 256MB RAM (looking to upgrade soon), 80GB HDD + 10GB HDD (from my old PC, now for backups), embedded gfx (also looking to upgrade soon), got it from half.com for $500. i can easily upgrade the gfx & RAM myself for fairly cheap

 NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DELL sucks! They are overpriced, bad quality,AND you cant upgrade like if you wanted to upgrade mobos, you cant. Your better off building one yourself, or going with off-brand like iBUYPOWER.

I worked for that company too...

Let me tell you the company is very very good...

Ethics are of top quality...

Regarding the system... most of us on the forum are quite computer savvy and should be able to install/ assemble the whole system ourselves....

But there are so many who cannot... still every comp that they is not a preconfigured system....

They give the customer the option to choose...

We at this forum certainly look for much better configurable system...

dell is better for people who have no idea what a ram or cd drive is, while i prefer custom built computers, i heard that u could get those parts for a cheap price from china,
