While perhaps less dramatic than in years past, Marvel nonetheless had some big reveals lined up for Comic-Con. The highest profile was certainly the announcement that Ryan Gosling would be joining the MCU as Ghost Rider, with the Shawn Levy-directed (Deadpool & Wolverine) standalone feature set to drop sometime in 2028.

The studio also brought out Ryan Coogler, who officially confirmed Black Panther III is slated for release on December 15th, 2028. He also introduced David Jonsson (The Long Walk, Alien Romulus) as T’Chala’s son and the new Black Panther in the franchise.

Marvel also showed off a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer and seemed to reveal yet another cast member. Ryan Reynolds made an appearance in the crowd as Deadpool and stood up to ask the film’s directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, if there was room for him in the movie. They said the film was basically done, but they might be able to work something out. It was also confirmed that Hayley Atwell is returning as Peggy Carter.

Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider

Nope! Nope, nope, nope!!!!!

Bring back Gabriel Luna from "Agents of Shield" franchise! Or someone that exudes darkness and malevolence like him. Not that do gooder face Gosling!

I mean, I'll never be able to get over that screwed up character, Deadpool, portrayed in those movies.

The take Ryan Reynolds did on Deadpool in Wolverine: Origins was much waaaayyyy better. He was sassy but not a dumb inbred jerk who never stopped blabbering stupidities!

To be honest, he wasn't the star of the movie so we don't know if it was going to be the same :tooth:

Sorry. End of rant:fear:
