1. Keep your patched ashBase.dll, make a copy somewhere and then uninstall old avast! or update.

2. Open avast! user interface. In Settings -> Troubleshooting

Uncheck Enable avast! self-defense module. Exit avast! UI

3. Go to C:\PROGRAMFILES\ALWIL SOFTWARE\AVAST5\) and rename ashBase.dll to ashBase.dll.old

Cut and paste your saved of copy of the patched ashBase.dll into same place.

4. Enable avast! self-defence module. Reboot.

5. Do not update the program, Only update engine and virus definitions

6. Enjoy! ;)

I just wanted to know if the file cracked ashBase.dll work in recent version 5.0.545. I already knew how to crack. Apparently no one knows the answer. Thanks anyway.
