I want to reinstall CCleaner 6.39 but I don't want it to automatically update to v7 which is awful.

 

Is there a way to block CCleaner Updater agent because I've already unchecked the box "Check for updates automatically" (Options –> Advanced –> Updates).

I have used "Firewall App Blocker" (it's a freeware from www.sordum.org) and I have blocked ALL .exe files located inside "C:\Program Files\CCleaner" folder (and subfolders). To do this without too much loss of time, I have searched .exe files with FileLocator Pro.

Working 100% for me. Hope it will help you, jpescobar.
