looks like beta 17 is a rc 4 now. looks like beta winrar file says beta 15. when used it says wrong file size. went to get old beta 15 at newsleecher and other sites and it and the last couple of betas este doesnt like. the beta 15 and other links for file sites are deleted or gone now. i know the 4.0 final should be coming out soon maybe.... just trying to test it so i know if i want to update from 3.9 final with giganews. anyone have beta 15 somewhere to test or a winrarfile that works with beat 17? thank you.

You are correct the crack (it's a loader) is for Beta version 15 only.

As for testing the new Beta. You could opt for the unofficial forum test version of 4.0 Beta 18 in trial mode

Myself is using 3.9 since my key is no longer accepted in the latest Beta.

those trial mode the usually 14 days only? anywya, i found beta 15 in newsgroups that doesnt piss este off. will upload a nzb in the right room

quick review from trying out beta 15. in order to put the cache and other stuff where you want it you have to make "newsleecher.INi" file and place in wher eyou isntall the newsleecher folder. unlike 3.9 final where you had that opition inside it. hopely they put it back in when 4.0 final comes out. inside it you do have the opition of changing the download folder easy. they got rid of the nick vs nick with email informatin and went with both. as soon as you get into a newsgroup that you download you will say this shit looks like agent software. the headers are threaded nicely. didnt try a txt newsgroup to check out the it they follow like old agent did. luckly its not like agent totally. you may remember the very large one data file for each newsgroup after you downloaded the headers and then had to save and delete out of it. twice the work and heck-it. this is what agent should been like. makes me wonder what they are up too. first software i paid for online. never did get the fucking free shirt nor the paper manual they was suppose to send for ordering agent. ahh... '96-99. got to luck those times. anywya, bakc with newleecher. you are able to install any newsleecher 4 on the same computer with 3.9 final also. just have to use a different folder name for the installment. it also gives you cache3v and cache4v when yo install jst these 4 betas. now made filtering to find whats there in a newsgroup easy. no need to put an example like iron.man.2. you just put iron man 2 and it looks for everything with that in the header. also you have the or and not opitions too. i do wish they would bring back the no show filter like they had back in version 2. im not key on the not opition. oh, on the caching of each newsgroup room they giv eyou 3 files now instead of 2. not sure what the 2 small ones actually each do. havent downloaded a super large room other they 633 days+ of abmdivx. after getting the 500 MB for headers for that room it seem to load and unload easy and quickly. though i was using mykids computer for this beta version. his has ddr memory. will try one of the nasty multimedia ones latter. just checked out what 3.9 large header file for abmdixv. 3.8 GB. so it does look like they changed how it stores stuff in the header file. guessing nice it was getting impossible with having all the headers going back 2 years in certain bin newsgroups. base on abmdixv new file size it looks like a 6 years of headers should be easy possible with computers these days. this is getting scarey. anywya, over all 4 looks to be a hit. i do remember reading that they was trying to fix supersearchs only 370 days now. need to allow use to use any searches again like before if a certain file :P

the one i found was by the same with the same virus scan %s. using vista 64 with usac on and the trial date is tsill going down. but it says registed on top. who knows. will see when it gets to 0
