sandy4fun34 Posted yesterday at 08:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 08:03 AM Hey folks, Recently I uninstalled the chrome and reinstalled it because of lag issues. After reinstalling when I tried to add the Ublock Origin extension from webstore. But it has been unsupported by chrome for some time. Then I installed the UBlock lite extension but isn't as efficient as Ublock Origin. Is there any way to add Ublock Origin to chrome manually? Skunk1966 Posted yesterday at 11:27 AM Share Posted yesterday at 11:27 AM easiest way is to add a registry key (Ublock Origin enable Chrome.reg) so you can add ublock origin to chrome the way you install all addons for chrome Download: Site: https://buzzheavier.com Sharecode [?]: /rbd6dnbopg1v Simply download, unpack and double click to add the registry key. Reboot Windows, open Chrome and go to this page: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en to install ublock origin sandy4fun34, wolfie and Wellington Britto

This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions.

All you need to do when you want it is to add the reg file which I posted just above your reply. You'll be able to install it from the webstore if you follow the procedure Edited yesterday at 02:06 PM by Skunk1966 RobrPatty
RobrPatty Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:30 PM (edited) Instead I downloaded chromium extention from github. Which is updated reguarly. Added to chrome using developer mode. No need for registry entry. https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/1.63.3rc2 edit: just noticed the video above explains whole process. Asim
Just use Brave; it already has an adblocker and has the option to add uBlock Origin or AdGuard in settings. Currently using uBlock Origin in Brave Browser. Edited 17 hours ago by Asim
