Netflix adds one-click full-season downloads on iPhones and iPads

Android users had it first.

 

Netflix users on iOS no longer need to download episodes of their favorite shows one by one. The streamer just introduced a way to download an entire season of a TV show with one click on iPhones and iPads.

 

Netflix first let users download content to watch offline in 2016 and, over time, has added features to make it easier to download shows and movies or to delete downloads so you can free up space. In 2021, for example, it added the option for users to have the Netflix app automatically download shows and movies it predicted they’d like based on their viewing history.

 

Android users already had access to the one-click season download feature, but here’s how to use it if you’re new to it:

1. Open a show’s display page.
2. Next to the “share” button, click the “download season” button.
3. All of the episodes from that season should be downloaded, and you can manage episodes under the the downloads section of the “My Netflix” tab.
