<img src="http://nsanedown.com/images/logos/Babylon.png" class="logo" alt="Babylon" title="Babylon" />Babylon is a powerful and innovative translation and reference tool that is easy to use. Just click on any text in any desktop application - Excel, Word, PowerPoint Email, Internet Browser, Instant Messenger, etc. and get immediate online and off line access to dictionaries and encyclopaedias covering a wide range of topics and themes. Babylon is said to be the most powerful and easy to use translation tool on the web, it's able to translate to over 40 languages and will search 1400 different dictionaries and encyclopaedias in just one click.

Thanks to Kunfutse for the update.

Kunfutse is definitely correct. That license worked for quite some time, first time with any Babylon download that you could get wikipedia, etc., with it. But about 2 weeks ago suddenly messages and popups, ........end of the line! I think it was a corporate type license that finally ran its' course. Too bad. I'll pass on the crack, maybe someday another long-term corporate license will surface.

Actually ZWT might have posted a new lic file to day. It was released by them to day.

It might also be the same licence, sometimes they re-post it to gain fame.I'll check.

Although go to Settings >>Connection>>Unmarked Automatic Updates or something like this to avoid licence detection. :dance2:

It is funny though, what'll happen?. I had first patched it and now I've just registered with the licence. I don't know what the outcome will be!!!! ;)

That's great news on the license, but I'm wondering if it allows the same privileges as the previous one did? With some I've seen turn up you can just get Babylon installed and then you must block it really tight and just use it with content that is on your computer, with the last one, as I said earlier, you could actually access web content as well.

I'm not sure how many of you that are interested in this type of software were aware, but just a few weeks ago ZWT also came out with a version of wordweb that is also the first one I had seen that allows you to access web content without running into a problem. I had never found a version of that previously where you could get wikipedia. The content on wordweb isn't anywhere near as extensive, and you don't have the translating features that Babylon has (if you can actually use Babylon on the web), but in alot of ways it's a superior program; much faster and lighter on resources, and boots up super quick as compared to Babylon which in my experience keeps you waiting awhile before it's running. Hey, if we can have both even better!!! :dance2:

if anyone is interested in that wordweb version let me know, and when I get home later I will post it here.

It allows the same privileges because it is genuine. I don't know much about the other software you mentioned!!!
