Administrator Popular Post Matt Posted October 20 Administrator Popular Post Share Posted October 20 Using AnyDesk four to five times a week will start showing a 100-second wait screen before the connection was made and during the sessions. I need to get rid of it as it is now unpleasant. I know that uninstalling and reinstalling it would work, but I needed something that will work more quickly and doesn't remove my settings. I found this great tool that can generate new address and doesn't reset AnyDesk settings. https://github.com/MechDR/generate-a-new-anydesk-id Download: https://github.com/MechDR/generate-a-new-anydesk-id/archive/refs/heads/main.zip Very easy and simple to use. You have to run the script as an administrator in Windows (right click --> Run as administrator) OR as root in Linux (first you need to give the script execution privileges, chmod +x /path/to/script). Moreover, you may stay using old version of AnyDesk (6.0.8 for Windows, 6.0.1 for Linux and 6.0.1 for FreeBSD).
