Administrator Popular Post DKT27 Posted September 19 Administrator Popular Post Share Posted September 19 It is really sad this. Matrix wasn't only a staff to us, but personally, he was a very close friend of mine and others in the staff. Throughout the years, I have had some very close friends on nsane, some part of staff and some regular members, but none of them have left this world like this. In fact, he can be considered on-duty when this happened to him. As a staff, most of you guys know how great he was at his work. Personally, he was an excellent staff member. He knew that I couldn't, for various different reasons, come on nsane. So he made sure to make me aware about various things. But that isn't alone. Whenever I used to ask him to do something, he would do it without any question. But, he was also a person who would let us know if anything is wrong from our side. That, with all the respects possible to us. I had to remind him that I'm a senior to him in staff, but not in age. There was no reason for him to treat us with so much respect. But he would never treat us anything less, despite some of us being younger than him. Despite not being extremely expert in technical issues like others, he had a good knowledge and expertise over all the staff tools that are required to moderate the forums and also helped all the new staff with them. Every group has that one person that would beat the crap out of anyone doing anything wrong. He was sometimes that kind of person. Tolerate no crap from anyone. But at the same time, as others mentioned, he was very balanced in his approach. Very friendly to good people. The reason I mention this is that he was one of the exuberance behind the staff team. Not to forget his strong share in training all the new staff that have come on forums throughout the years after him joining. Not to forget, the amount of hard work he had put on forums is immeasurable. He was also fond of some members of our forums, both in within regular members and also staff. Those people I'm talking about know I'm talking about them. He was close to so many people on nsane. But his connection to us wasn't just limited to as a staff. He was personally a close friend even outside the forum matters. There might not have been a single day in previous some years that we wouldn't have talked to each other. Either on world issues or through sharing jokes with each other. His sense of humor was great and he used to sometimes take it as a responsibility to make us laugh even in tough situations. It was through him that I came to know about many things about his background. At the same time, he used to always respect my views. Not to forget, he used to never get bored with my long texts. No matter how annoying they could be. I could always speak openly with him. My connection with him also due to our fondness for sports. Interestingly, he used to like one of my country's sportsman a lot and equally, I used to like one of his country's sportsman a lot. Both with very similar abilities. It was like we divided by countries, but we still united for our fondness for sports. But his fondness for sports wasn't limited to just one sport. He used to like and followed various different sports. I remember during the Olympics, I wanted to discuss so many things with him. But by that time that the Olympics had started, he was in bad shape already. His knowledge wasn't limited to just sports, either. From what I remember, he had an extraordinary knowledge about various bird species. Something that he had shown to us sometimes. We didn't even know that such type of birds even exist and there are so many varieties of them. But he knew a lot about them in detail and opened us to the beauty and world of them. Not to forget, his expertise over his own work that he used to do previously in real. He had shared his works many times with us previously. Just like being a senior moderator on our forums, he was a leader in his work in real too. He was also an inspiration. For all the issues he faced, yet he was able to fight them. Even when he was admitted, he used to have fun with us, joke with us. Share pics of his surroundings. Till he became non-contactable directly. The only regret I had was that I told him how important a friend he was to us on the international friendship day, but that message sadly never reached him, as he had become uncontactable by then. I take happiness in the fact that I did let him know the importance of his friendship some months ago and I sometimes remind myself that even though my message didn't reach him, he already knew what I wanted to tell him. In the time he was admitted, it was very hard not only for his close ones but also us. In this time when he was uncontactable, it was his better half who used to make us aware about the happenings. I want to give a special thanks to her for all the updates and information she provided to us about him. It was only through her that we came to know everything about him. I would also like to take this opportunity to say something else but important. Guys, if you are consuming cigarettes, alcohol or recreational drugs, please stop immediately. They are made to destroy people. Had these things wouldn't have existed, he might be still with us. I'm not saying he was a regular consumer of all the above things - far from it. But one of the above things might have contributed to his problems. That's why I request everyone, please stop consuming cigarettes, alcohol or recreational drugs. None of them are good - irrespective of Matrix's issues. Overall, he is going to be missed a lot. I'm quite emotional even when writing this. On behalf of all the staff and even all members of nsane, I thank Matrix for everything he has done. His contribution to nsane and also his close friendship. I wish peace for him and hope that his close ones are fine. He has a left a big void that's impossible to be filled. For both staff and as a friend, he was very important to all of us. hpwamr, Tux 528, rushdie and 15 others 14

Popular Post DLord
@DKT27Many thanks brother for the kind words and sharing all the details. Although most of the members did not know @Matrix as well as you guys, but the feelings are mutual. I know this might sound crazy and unusual, but I wonder if any of guys have any picture of him and do you think it's appropriate to share it with us? I personally would love to have a more complete memory of our late friend. I just know his first name as we exchanged names during a conversation last year, and I really like to have a picture to match his name and well cherish his memories. If not, forgive this old man for being old school kind of person. funkyy, soundtwo, DKT27 and 5 others
Administrator Popular Post DKT27 Posted September 20 Administrator Popular Post Share Posted September 20 Hi @DLord, while I understand your eagerness, but I don't think it's possible. After some discussions, we believe it's best to protect his privacy in these times. I hope you understand. Also, we ourselves don't have many of his latest photos with us here. elena1024
I didn't know Matrix, I only saw once or twice a comment he made to explain why he had to remove a person's post/comment and it struck me how fair and peacful he was in his interventions. Popular Post Easy
@Matrix Just noticed message and it 'stroke' me like my two heart attacks few weeks ago. I got so many positive reactions on my posts from him, and few great comments. Simply great person, and we will miss you.
