Bypass Excel block editing file iOS screen size greater 10.1

Microsoft Office is free for iOS and editing is available only on screen sizes up to 10.1 inches. If you have an iPad with screen size more than 10.1 ( mine 10.6) you will need to have a qualifying Microsoft plan with access to edit files.

This is an official, legal way of using free Office365 and edit Microsoft files.

The screen limitation is for free Microsoft Office applications with IOS and not Microsoft365.

 

I believe this solved the issue, in my opinion.
