Not sure whether this would be helpful but there seems to be a later version . . . did you try to update the IDM addon for Firefox manually:-

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tonec-idm-integration-module/

Its showing "Remove" when i click link, so its already latest IDM Module Version, future update seems to be the only solution🤔

Found a workaround from Reddit [...]

javascript:(function(){document.location.href=document.location.href.replace("watch?v=",%20"embed/");})();

That's correct because I had discover it from a decade (it's work fine with a browser based on FireFox). Create a bookmark and recopy this code inside.

When you are on YouTude, it's simple click on the bookmark (it will rewrite directly the URL).

PS : Don't wait a feedback because for the moment, I don't know when I will update it (currently I use IDM-v6.42 Build 10).

Otherwise apparently we can use an "invidious instances" but I didn't check (I just read the report because the applications are broken that's why I rather to wait a good update).

Ignore him mates . . . he just likes to troll.  :tooth:

Yes. You are right. I became a troll unintentionally. I didn't think the error was coming in the download process. After the update, the error still exists. Confirm. The developer messed up the program!

I encountered the same error with build 12 version, Fixed in build 14. Try uninstalling the IDM. Restarting the PC. Reinstalling the programs. Use ALI.Dbg meds. Restart again. Manually integrate the extension into the respective browsers if needed. Confirmed error fixed in build 14.

Found a workaround from Reddit. But you have to choose the video quality from the video itself. You won't get the usual drop box from the addon.

Works for now...

Still working for me up to now (tested one minute ago). I have IDM ver 6.42 Build 7
