Use Windows 7 Manager (available on frontpage) > Security > Control Panel > There you can delete or hide icons. ;)

You are on Windows 7 right? Try running the programs as Admin.

Can you tell what icon you wanna delete? And is the program of that icon uninstalled?

Uninstalled it right?

Now use CCleaner. I hope that it would solve it. Also, you may need restart for change to take place.

not uninstalled. because it got a driver that works. its from my sound card. I think I'll see registry to see if I can make it dissapear.

Then it's better that you don't touch anything. Let it be as it is. As long as driver is working, there's no problem...

@DKT27:

You clearly don't understand the meaning of customization.

@José Matías Lemos:

Try searching for files with .cpl extension.

@José Matías Lemos:

Right-click the file and view the Version tab.

Look at the description.
