[Solved] How to delete Windows.old folder ?

I could not figure out how to delete Windows.old folder. Please help

I tried this https://www.makeuseof.com/delete-windowsold-folder-windows-11/ but didn't help

I even deleted it using Ubuntu, but it just move it to Trash folder

Why does it say I need permission from andrew ? But I am andrew !

you don't need to manually delete it..

if it is in recycle bin, restore it, and then simply run the disk cleanup utility.. it has the option to remove old windows folder and it does it properly.

you can run it after any manual major windows update.

go to run..Type in cleanmgr...hit enter...from there you will see the entry to delete it.
