Siddharta
It might not be a bad idea to warn users of a probable false positive. ;) Virustotal (Keygen SnD): 28/
mosaji
Is it better than jv16PT???
LeetPirate
Is this thing any good? I get the impression it is bloated with all the performance monitors etc. Is my thinking correct? Also I find a 10MB setup file to be large for this type of program.
KotaXor
Bloated? What are you guys talking about? Everyone knows you need 2GB of software to burn a dvd. :lol:Well, its just 10mb.:fear:
mray88
At over 50% on virustotal, maybe some kind soul can just upload a text note with some working keys? Would be nice. Even better if anyone knows if this update is accepting keys from prior installations or if they have been blacklisted. It's been about 50-50 for me in the past as to whether PC Tools has blacklisted older serials. Either way, 28/39 positive on VT is too rich for me. I found it on the web so I have no idea how long it will last. I don't think it was generated with the keygen because all the keygen results start with "GXDN3Q" and the serial I uploaded does not start with "GXDN3Q".

mray88
this did knock out the prior serial on install, so thanks again for the convenience LeetPirate. As for whether or not it's any good, well, I've been using it for several years now, and also have a copy of jv16 installed. My experience with it is that it provides a far less agressive scan than jv16 and so I generally use it for a tidying up that I don't want to have to pay much attention to. In the years I've been using Reg Mech, I don't recall having to ever go and use one of the programs backups due to some malfunctioning after cleaning. I have had to do that with JV16, which cleans much more aggressively, and which I generally would more tend to use when I'm experiencing some particular computer problem that I'm attempting to patch up/troubleshoot. As for "bloat", I have all the monitors turned off for both programs, and only use them for manual registry cleaning passes. Finally, as to your comment about 'how long the serial would last'.... I've always blocked both of these programs from any web access. Regardless of the serial used, Reg Mech will get broken if you attempt to update it with any warez serial. In other words, any differences between your text note serial, and the keygen serials, shouldn't really be of any concern since you can't update these anyway.
