Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Thursday to attend the pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The grand pre-wedding festivities will be held March 1 to 3 in Jamnagar.

 

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan were seen in Jamnagar with garlands around their necks as folk musicians welcomed them.

Earlier in the day, pop icon Rihanna also arrived in Jamnagar. She is one of the many prominent artists who will be performing at the function.

 

Arijit Singh and Diljit Dosanjh are also a part of the extensive lineup of musicians who will perform at the grand event.

 

Celebrities from the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, to Sidharth Malhotra, Saif Ali Khan and others, will also attend the festivities in Gujarat.

 

The guests will also experience the animal rescue and rehabilitation work being carried out in Jamnagar under Anant Ambani's leadership.

 

Around 1,000 guests have been invited for the pre-wedding events that will be attended by several prominent personalities, including Bill Gates and Melinda Gates.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday.

 

Gates said that he talked about Articificial Intelligence, women-led development, innovation in agriculture, health and climate adaption and taking lessons from India to the world, among other things, with the Prime Minister.

 

"It is always inspiring to meet with @narendramodi and there was a lot to discuss," Gates said in a post on X.

 

He added, "We talked about AI for public good; DPI; women-led development; innovation in agriculture, health, and climate adaptation; and how we can take lessons from India to the world."

 

The Prime Minister called the meeting "wonderful" and said in a post on X, "Always a delight to discuss sectors which will make our planet better and empower millions of people across the globe."

 

Earlier on Thursday, Gates also met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.

 

Gates arrived in Odisha on Tuesday night and met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday. He also visited a slum in Bhubaneswar along with state government officials and enquired about the well-being of its residents. The philanthropist also interacted with members of women's self-help groups (SHGs) in the state.

 

Gates will also reportedly take part in the pre-wedding events of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamanagar in Gujarat.
