Dereferrer problem

Somehow I'm having problems with dereferrer today. No matter what link I click that has dereferrer, the page doesn't open. Removing dereferrer makes it work perfectly. This is happening today, haven't faced this problem before. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem.

Hmm. I checked it with Chrome and it doesn't work. Disabled AV and Firewall. It doesn't work. Stopped Utorrent. Doesn't work. Pinged dereferrer.ws, request timed out.

Somehow it started working again.

While pinging the site, I saw that it showed proper IP of the site. Also tried flushing DNS at that time. I did no changes, but it has started working today.

Nope. I've switched to GoogleDNS two weeks ago...

Speed, well it differs from country to country. I found online that it's faster in my country. While using my ISP's DNS, I pinged OpenDNS's DNS IP(s) and GoogleDNS's IP(s). And what I saw, my eyes/mouth were wide open. GoogleDNS took almost half as time of OpenDNS to reply back. I repeated it several times and similar result. From that day I'm on GoogleDNS. Also, I did have some networking problems, I thought somehow OpenDNS was causing it. So...

Features, none. No dashboard, no account, no settings. In the end it's only a fast DNS server. I read somewhere that most of the security features configurable in OpenDNS are already enabled in GoogleDNS. But I haven't walked on some malware site yet to confirm that. :P

GoogleDNS vs OpenDNS:

Speed:

GoogleDNS 1 vs OpenDNS 0

Features:

GoogleDNS 0 vs OpenDNS 1
