Probably because the developer removed the Remote Desktop from the windows. That can the root of this problem. Have a look at what is removed from the windows setup. If you find Remote Desktop Connection removed, then you may need to look for an ISO / Windows which has not Remote Desktop Connection removed from it :)

No, remote desktop is working, teamviewer too, but good news is anydesk magically is working now, not sure what happened

But TeamViewer you have to make an account..I switched to UltraViewer
