i have asus w7j and realtek audio with vista os. i've downloaded latest driver from realtek but no sound, does anyone know how to fixed it? thx

Only a guess, if you have the RealTek icon in your System Try, right click it and click on "Audio Devices", and make sure that "Speakers" is set as teh Default.

As I know it happened to me a few times that it defaulted to my TV (HDMI) output.
