The “Media Library Downloader” from Abelssoft streams series, feature films, documentaries, comedies, shows or sports programs from public media libraries and allows you to download films and series from the media libraries of ARD, ZDF & Co. as MP4. 

You can download the easy-to-use and visually very appealing alternative to the open source program “MediathekView” as a free full version from COMPUTER BILD. 

Easier than browsing through various TV archives in the browser, the streaming software “Mediatheken Downloader” for Windows provides you with the online offerings of the media libraries from ARD, ZDF, 3sat, Arte (D/F), BR, HR, Phoenix, NDR, SWR , MDR, RBB, WDR, DW, KiKA and the youth media library Funk.net are available centrally in one interface. 

So if you want to stream an episode of “Red Roses” or “Storm of Love”, watch a missed “Today Show” or enjoy the current crime scene or police call 110, simply type the title in the search field and optionally limit the search to a station or your “favorite media libraries”. 

From the hit list, which shows you not only a photo but also a short information text, you can start programs using the integrated media player in full-screen mode and can jump forward and back. 

Practical: With one click of the mouse you can not only transfer programs to the “watch list”, but also save videos as MP4 videos on your computer or download the audio track of a program as an MP3 file. If you come across an interesting report, show or film while browsing through the online media libraries of ARD, ZDF & Co., simply copy the link from your browser into the search window of the “Media Library Downloader”.
