Hi,

Proton have a free version (https://protonvpn.com/), if its just bypassing a website to stream something and you are not too bothered about privacy you could just use something like Psiphon (https://psiphon.ca/) or a proxy although i wouldn't recommend this if you are watching alot of shows / movies consistently, a VPN would be the better option in this case.

When it comes to VPNs for a UK IP, one that often gets a thumbs-up is ExpressVPN. It's got a solid track record for unblocking websites and streaming content without those annoying disconnects.
But you know what, man? Don't limit yourself to just VPNs. Sometimes, it's worth exploring the proxy route. PyProxy, for example, is a nifty tool I've tinkered with (check it out here: http://pyproxy.com/?utm-source=crd&utm-keyword=?s1111
The beauty of it all is that you have options. Whether it's trying out a different VPN like ExpressVPN or giving PyProxy a whirl, you're on the right track to smoother web surfing.

I was using ExpressVPN for a while to stream UK TV shows. The problem was that it wasn't always reliable. Sometimes, the video would buffer a lot, or the connection would drop, which was frustrating. And it felt too expensive for the service I was getting.

That's when I decided to try something different. I switched to using a proxy from proxys.io. The difference was noticeable. The streaming became much smoother, and I no longer had those annoying interruptions. Plus, it's been easier on my wallet. The price is more reasonable, just 1.4$, and for what I need – mainly streaming and browsing – it does the job well.
