Loewe
I often need to perform OCR on image-based PDF books to make double-layer PDFs for easy retrieval. I now use ABBYY FindReader 16 and Wondershare PDF as the main OCR softwares. I want to know, is there any software with more powerful OCR functions than these two? The PDF books I need to do OCR are mainly in Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, German, or Japanese. Thanks for your attention and reply. m345
Most of all OCR solutions in fact are using the Abbyy OCR engine. Therefore its somewhat hard to any better OCR software that provides better results.
