Sweet_BabyLou
I was flagged by my ISP and I started to freak out. I started to do some research and I found torguard.net. They offer vpn's and other services, even a cloud feature, all at a good price. It's been 4 months since and I haven't been flagged since. It's worth a look! nglekhoi
Let me introduce a Free Internet Security solution from the far-east Roboscan Internet Security Free Homepage : http://www.anonymz.c...w.roboscan.com/ Roboscan Internet Security is an integrated anti-malware program for protecting your computers from outside online threats. The internet facilitates the sharing of helpful files and information, but increased sharing may expose your computer to a variety of online threats. Roboscan Internet Security uses a Dual Engine security system that provides Multi-Layer filtration for more thorough detection and deletion of online threats. Advantages of using Roboscan Internet Security 1. Multi-layered protection with award-winning dual engines Roboscan uses two award-winning engines, the BitDefender Engine and Roboscan’s Tera Engine, to defend your computer. These two layers of protection identify and block malware(such as spyware, trojans, adware, worm, viruses and so on) and hacking tools. 2. Increase Scan Speed with Smart Scan Technology Roboscan's Smart Scan technology keeps your scan process fast and efficient. When Roboscan scans your computer, it stores a record of safe files in an internal WhiteList database which it uses for reference in future scans. This WhiteList database is updated after each scan, reducing the time it takes to complete each successive scan. 3. Enhance PC performance with Tune-up functions Roboscan optimizes your computer's performance and responsiveness by deleting unnecessary files, cleaning up temporary files and managing your PC registry. 4. Prevents normal files from being detected as a virus Roboscan prevents any normal file from being detected as a virus by using a unique false positive recognition system. 5. One-click interface Roboscan's streamlined interface allows you to access every function in a few simple clicks. Roboscan's "My One Care" even allows you to run all Roboscan features at once with a single comprehensive computer care feature. Link to VB100 test : http://www.anonymz.c...spx?ai=114&cp=1 Download here : http://www.anonymz.c...roduct.aspx#No1 (138 MB) The setup size is quite big because of including two database for dual engines, and setup time take about 5 minutes to complete The tune-up function available only in pro version From my experience, the real-time protection is light on resource, take about 10-20 Mb in Task Manager
AlienForce1
I installed two days ago on a laptop (1GB RAM) and it was really fast and light this Roboscan Free - would be interesting to see some tests with new malware ... The company that produce this is from South-Korea , http://www.roboscan..../home_main.aspx Roboscan Internet Security Free download 32 bit (138.2MB) / 64 bit (139.8MB) Roboscan Internet Security Manual Database download 32 bit / 64 bit Offline database install process : - Run installation file - Press "Next" button - Wait for Installation process to complete - Press "Next" button to exit installation process. Is it mandatory to update manual database files? -> No. Manual database update is necessary only if an Internet connection was not available at the time of the latest automatic database update. Roboscan’s database is kept updated through automatic updates. Are manual database files as same as automatic DB files? -> No. Manual database files are renewed every week, thus they can be different from automatic database files. avmad
Kaspersky Security Scan is a free program that is making use of Kaspersky’s commercial antivirus engine to scan a system for threats that other security software on the system may have missed. You can run a quick scan which will only check the most important locations and files, or a full scan which is more thorough but will also take longer to complete. You can set up scheduled security scans. It doesn't clean, only identifies. http://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/free-anti-virus-scan
