seagate
@Matt, can you clarify the "text formatting" because I've noticed that in my posts this has been fixed as well? I mean I upload a file to some file exchange and then apply a link here per the rules, but then a team rep edits something called "text formatting". /I am writing here, knowing that you will delete my opinion correctly, but my question is exactly what the author of the topic is wrong, but at least clarify the mistake absolutely exactly, if possible with an example/photo. The goal is to make it clear to us so that this discrepancy is not allowed. English is not my native language, maybe that's why we have this ambiguity with the text formatting./ Edited April 8, 2023 by seagate BTJB
Administrator Solution Popular Post Matt Posted April 9, 2023 Administrator Solution Popular Post Share Posted April 9, 2023 12 hours ago, seagate said: can you clarify the "text formatting" I have clarified it on many posts whenever you copy anything from this site or others, you are copying some unwanted CSS styles along with the text that affect the way it will be displayed on this site after you paste it in here. The author of that topic is very aware of what wrong with his topic because he has been informed about the issue. Moreover, of course your post cloud be removed because that topic is to discuss the author software updated version not what he did wrong or what's "text formatting". I decided to move your question to the Feedback forum instead. Most of the sites having white background, and whenever someone copy anything and paste in here it will look like this. If you are using light theme, you won't notice it, but whoever is using dark theme will be seeing what is in the screenshots. Huge white background which makes it hard to see and read. Why "text formatting"? It's because we have a button on the editor called "Remove Format", and it works whenever you select anything in the editor and then press on it. It will remove the unwanted CSS styles you copied and pasted along with the text. It would happen from dark theme also. Example: Copying text and pasting it on dark theme without removing the text format. can you clarify the "text formatting" because I've noticed that in my posts this has been fixed as well? I mean I upload a file to some file exchange and then apply a link here per the rules, but then a team rep edits something called "text formatting". Hope these enough clarifications for everyone. Also, hopefully you won't interfere with someone's topic to ask such questions because we do have available places for such questions. Feedback forum and the support system.
