Since IDM 6.41 build 10, my IDM client keeps crashing continuously.... is this happening to anyone else?

I'm using Actver's IDM Activator 1.8.1.

Mine works just fine even now. Already downloaded some movies, no error or crashing. Maybe the anti virus is blocking the "comctl32.dll" file located in IDMan.exe.Local folder. Though there are other options if Actver's file does not work for you. Use the "Search" function to check out other threads.

I just did a clean uninstall with Revo and reinstalled the latest version.

Seems to be stable so far so maybe that's all I needed...

Nope... just started crashing again... I think it might be Actver's activator which I have been using fine for so long now...

What patch option do you use or recommend instead?

I only use Actver's patch on Trial Edition and Techtobo's patch on Retail Edition. The reliable patches being used here as I see it were from Pawel and Ali.dbg.

Actver's activator no longer works (since the last update).  I did leave him a message but no reply yet.

You could use CrackingCity or Ali.dbg patch.

What about BTCR? Is it still working?

CrackingCity now is permanent activator with reg permissions, nothing patched.

I do not know my friend as I have not tried BTCR.  After Actver's patch failed I used CrackingCity activator and it worked perfectly.  Good thing is after the recent update I did not have to re-apply the patch again as it's still holding.

Apparently app's server contact IP list (to be blocked) has changed.

Does anyone has the new (complete) list?

Thanx.

Seems like some new IPs have been added.  The app goes beyond my old blocked IPs and contacts home!

If even a single new IP would've been added, my copy would've started nagging for registration (which is not the case.)

BTW, what program are your using to block IDM IPs (and hostnames?)

I'm blocking the IPs with Symantec Endpoint Protection's firewall, which was working without any problem for couple of years.

Sounds legit., haven't had the opportunity to use it . . . but, Symantec Endpoint should have no trouble in blocking IDM IPs (and hostnames.)

Do you have a working link for that? Sadly, this latest version hasn't been shared here on Nsane before.
And their site (Techtobo) has been down for at least two days now.
