mp68terr
Mullvad recently appeared. The Mullvad Browser is a privacy-focused web browser developed in a collaboration between Mullvad VPN and the Tor Project. It’s designed to minimize tracking and fingerprinting. Kalju
Brave is not Browser, Brave is only one "Derivative" of Chromium which one is itself in turn is one of "Derivatives" of Safari. That's the simple Chemistry if somebody don't understand. Edited June 23, 2023 by Kalju
ARMOUR
https://privacytests.org/ (Open-source privacy tests of web browsers) according to their test & analysis, Brave is best for privacy Edited June 25, 2023 by ARMOUR Popin

virge
DuckDuckGo Online is what I use as my homepage within Brave. The worst browsers are Chrome and Edge. https://duckduckgo.com/.

Better idea would be to shift focus from Browser to a good AdBlocker like AdGuard or uBlock . . . there's not much scope for security when depending merely on the Browser (anyways, the AdBlocker configuration over-rides the Browser config.) Ecarion
What's the trouble with Ublock Origin ? Despite the time (several years and attempts), a large bunch of people can't use it (too much complicated that's a huge trouble for any kind of GUI). * * * block * 1st-party css allow * 1st-party image allow Apparently after several years, we can find two addons to replace uMatrix : 1) xiMatrix (the GUI doesn't provide use a full control that's why I won't advice it (check the rules, as we can see you can't create them)) 2) nuMatrix (for the support you will find it there and also the latest version (we don't need the JavaScript to read the topics from CodeBerg) 3) nuTensor (according to this page, the support has been drop (last update was done the 20 July 2021))
