Still Cause BSod. on one of my system 10 LTSB Just did.

and backups of the type "partitions required to...restore windows" fail on my end /Win11 22H2 Ent/. throwing some fatal error 1. Have never seen it before.
reverted to v8.0.x. No such issue with that version. So nothing wrong with my system.
it's slightly speculative, but it seems to me that v8.1 is not yet ready for broad deployment. It's not unheard of for Macrium to release beta quality software when "major" changes are made. I expect a flurry of fixes.
P.S. However, to also have in mind, has crossed my mind to add: most of us around here use cracked Macrium Reflect and the custom patch is already quite old. Cracks can introduce instability in the product, so to speak, interfere with its functionality. From experience, my hunch would be this is not the case with the observed “fatal error 1”, but I haven’t really compared with let’s say v8.1 Homed edition trial, to confirm. Might do it.

Hi,

on my LTSC system Macrium Reflect 8.1.7336 install asks for reboot to complete and then BSOD's. Only using Strelec USB and deleting all traces of Macrium Reflect from my C drive gives me a chance to boot into a last known good configuration (didn't try other options). The same thing happened in two tries and it's goodbye Macrium forever.

I reverted to v8.0.x Free edition. (an idea...) Suits all my needs. It won't receive future updates, but this doesn't matter to me for now. It does work great. I practically don't employ incremental backups, only differentials; have no use for image guardian and the Changed Block Tracker (CBT) driver (which itself used to be sometimes problematic),...so no worries.
