Yes, that was the second or 3th DC for current version (8.3).

They used to do it all the time with all versions, without providing any word about any changes, or even announcing.
So its not clear if these DC release are important and needs to be considered or can be ignored.

last one was dated 09.10.22, all the excusable were replaced by new ones.

This time only the main excusable PowerISO.exe is replaced.

Anyway, for those who want too keep everything  up to date, its good to know.

@atgpud2003 always download from the main developer site because they have been releasing silent updates, and most of the other sites download same version (older) before the update and host it on their sites. This is why you will see different sizes.

@atgpud2003 I don't know what antivirus you are using, but I have Kaspersky. I scanned the files and there is nothing wrong with them.

VirusTotal - URL - 5579c86bc62823ac76efd15b99afdf2447835fc57a4974a8683c59d10cc7cdd0 32bit

This is the download links we have on nsane.down from the developer site.

@101egdelwonk Some stuff could be false positive, and it's not an actual virus. For example, I downloaded the file and renamed it. Scanned it again.

VirusTotal - File - 4b5eb895608626e5159c8aa698a560bfb5c97ac2724d2f4ccd507cada9f9fa23

It says 2 security vendors and no sandboxes flagged this file as malicious.

It's worth contacting the developer in order to correct these issues.

yes your are right its seems to be ok and not real virus

as virustotal say its some grayware

see  https://uk.norton.com/norton-blog/2015/08/what_is_grayware.html

Grayware – which is sometimes referred to as potentially unwanted programs (PUPs

as the user atgpud2003 said it changed his browser

i not use norton as it have its  own backdoor

i use Kaspersky  and Kaspersky  say its ok 👍

do you use https://opentip.kaspersky.com/

it can be a lifesaver and save times in scans

as it can scan with out the need for a antivirus program been  installed and still scan with an anti-virus databases
