Betts1964
hi, I have windows 10 setup on an external SSD and it is working correctly when I use it on an older macbook pro from 2010. The only thing that is not working correctly is the microphone and speakers as i cant here any music videos from youtube. What could be causing this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated. The issue is ancient hardware which might never get correct drivers for such anymore. So I hope you not mind, but...........

Kalju
Once again, the topic title does not match the content. This is not a Windows 10 error or issue if you can't find Mac drivers.

Administrator DKT27 Posted April 29, 2022 Administrator Share Posted April 29, 2022 Might not be a case for laptops. But check whether the audio device you want to hear from is set as default audio device. On desktops it gets changed when installing graphics cards drivers. So play something. Meanwhile, open sound settings, then check which one of them is the default device. Sound settings might have some sound testing options too. Additionally, open device manager and check if all the devices and their device drivers, especially sound related, are working correctly there. Kalju
@Betts1964 If the problem is solved, mark it in the title, then everyone will know when see the title that things are fine and the problem have been solved. The same is needed to do with older topics, for example where You wanted buy laptop etc.
