Using Ali.Dbg's fix, is causing a small bug to the way IDM takes over the downloads from the browser. I've tested this issue after a clean install on 2 different PCs without any medicine and after using Ali.Dbg's medicine. It only starts happening after applying the medicine. Ill try to provide the steps to replicate the issue:

After installing IDM and applying the medicine, go to Options and uncheck the "Launch IDM on startup" (see screenshot) and click OK.

Next, reboot the PC but DO NOT launch IDM.

Just open a browser like FireFox or Chrome and try downloading any file.

You will see that IDM is not downloading the file and instead the browser will start downloading it.

The only way for IDM to start taking over the downloads again is to launch it once. Now it will take over downloads from the browsers. However, after a reboot you will have to launch IDM again for it to start taking over the downloads.

this issue only exist for fresh install with default idm settings  no issues here I'm using Firefox 99.0

@BenCart This issue was old complaint here by our member long time ago. If you was there you should already have knowledge about it. It is related to missing registry entry for:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Internet Download Manager -> AdvIntDriverEnabled2
Seems with your cleaners you did negative anti-service, in short - you damage IDM by adding bug to the program yourself. Much cleaners, much bugs. :)
