flash13
More powerful than other PDF software, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is the free, trusted standard for viewing, printing, and annotating PDFs. It is the only PDF file viewer that can open and interact with all PDF documents. Being connected to Adobe Document Cloud __ it's easier than ever to work with PDFs on computers and mobile devices. View and interact with all types of PDF content, Fill forms, sign, and comment on your mobile device, save on ink and toner when printing from your Windows PC, Store and share files online with instant access to recently viewed files and a lot more. InsaneAl
I noticed that the **updater links were for 20039 (existing version) so I manually copied and changed your download links by changing the 10 digit numbers for directory structure and version numbers to the same as the installers, and got the 20085 updaters x32 + x64... I will have to manually update as the online updater from Help menu in 20039 won't update for me - tells me to shut down all other apps but there isn't anything else running,, tried three times after rebooting etc, so I'll have to do it manually and/or completely install the new one...!!! Cheers and thanks so much for the update notification... InsaneAl
Administrator Matt Posted March 7, 2022 Administrator Share Posted March 7, 2022 @InsaneAl Thanks for mentioning this. We have mentioned it many times that staff members don't go through each post and topics were created every day, and it's best to use the report button in order to have our attention to fix things around here. InsaneAl
Matt.. Thanks anyway but I wasn't trying to report the links or anything, just that I tried for the very latest updaters on my own initiative and that anyone else might want tot use the same knowledge to get them. Flash13's links were actually dead true as per label,, but just that the newer updates were now actually available - they probably weren't available at the time of posting.. What I tried was a common way of trying to get the very latest. I employ this method on many different apps. All I did was to share this method (without posting the actual working links) with anyone who might also wish to try for themselves. I wasn't sure of what rules I might upset by posting actual working links... Nice to see staff are on the ball - Cheers...!!! Administrator Matt Posted March 7, 2022 Administrator Share Posted March 7, 2022 @InsaneAl This is what adobe or most of other software copy does whenever they release a new update. The link will be the same and only they update the version number. It's unfortunate to hear that from any member. Because as a member, you are a part of this community, and it is everyone's duty to report dead links or any other concerns around here, especially on nsane.down, which we staff member's update. InsaneAl
Problem I spoke of yesterday (about me not being able to update properly from 20039 using online updater in menu "Help/Check for Updates") was entirely my fault and not paying attention to what it told me what to do. It was actually telling to close the opened Acrobat Reader which was running. I retried today, closed Acrobat and it all happened in a few short seconds.. Now updated to v20085... So there ya go then, even though you have to open Acrobat to initiate the online updater, you also need to close Acrobat once it pops up and says there is an update there or you get an error message.. But then again, you guys already knew that didn't you..?? First time in about 5 years since I last updated any Adobe app online...
