I checked potplayer with recommended settings, I can say that the settings are meant for high end systems, my output video is not coming good

Interesting. The article suggests it has more to do with codec rather than the player itself.

 

I have not checked but it is possible to change the codecs which a player uses.

 

What is concerning is if one of codec is as bad as the article suggests, then why are so many players using it.
