You missed the most important step which is the actual rearming of Windows 7 itself.

slmgr -rearm

If you tried it, then you will know that it did not work. I have done this many times and it did not work before either. I was really hoping that I have missed something but I did not. Yes, you will get 4 rearms counts. But what about the 30 days?

You want the end the look like this.

slmgr -rearm does not work, I've tried it :nono:

Try my tutorial, it works.

I did your tutorial, did the rearm command, and it did not work.

I was suggesting that YOU try the rearm command after you did your tutorial. Please post the screen shot to show that you did get the 30 days with 4 rearm counts. Without the grace period (30 days), no Windows 7 genuine updates.

Basically, what I am saying is that your method is incomplete. The only way for users to correct this mistake is to reinstall Windows 7 or use my "Rearm4" to correct it.

That's good. Now we need independent verification.

Let me see if I got the steps correct.

1. Stop Software Protection service

2. Move tokens.dat

3. Move *.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0 files

4. Start Software Protection service to get 4 rearm counts.

5. Stop Software Protection service.

6. Replaced the tokens.dat with #2 above.

7. Replaced the *.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0 files with #3 above

8. slmgr.vbs -ipk D4F6K-QK3RD-TMVMJ-BBMRX-3MBMV

9. Reboot Windows 7

10. slmgr -rearm

All I want to say is that many people have done this in the My Digital Life and it was verified that it did not work.

Check Post # 181

Your steps are wrong. No wonder it fails to work for you. ;)

Which steps are out of sequence?

1. Stop Software Protection service

2. Move tokens.dat

3. Move *.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0 files

4. Start Software Protection service

5. slmgr /dlv

6. Stop Software Protection service.

7. Replaced the tokens.dat with #2 above.

8. Replaced the *.C7483456-A289-439d-8115-601632D005A0 files with #3 above

9. slmgr.vbs -ipk D4F6K-QK3RD-TMVMJ-BBMRX-3MBMV

10. Reboot Windows 7

11. slmgr /dlv

12. slmgr -rearm

Just let go of your programming skills for a moment. :D

Would you mind using the commands as a copy-paste from the following text file:- B)

Site: http://www.mediafire.com

Code: /file/tznmlajjrmr/box.txt

Yes, I did that. It did not work.

Your #9 was different because the command has to be elevated.

slmgr /ipk D4F6K-QK3RD-TMVMJ-BBMRX-3MBMV

At what point do you do

slmgr -rearm

Do you have TeamViewer?

I will let you do it on my computer.

Unfortunately, I don't have TeamViewer. Just check your commands under your point 9 and 11 against mine. Your commands are logical (Microsoft has handicapped that, though) Change your logical commands exactly to the ones that I've outlined.

Click here to download. This will do every thing and it is FREE. It is less than 2.7 MB.

http://www.teamviewer.com/index.aspx

This is your #9.

OK, just one more thing. Is WAT already installed on your system?

No WAT. This is a fresh Win7x86 with 0 trial days and 2 rearm counts remaining.
