CCleaner Professional / Business 5.86.9258 License Expired - Renew License

Hello Friends:

 

With the new version of CCleaner Professional 5.86.9258 I am having problems activating the software.

 

I have tried every method known to man, and it always results in License Expired - Renew License.

 

Can you help me please?

Is your antivirus blocking access to the hosts file? Avira does just that? If not disable your antivirus just during the install.

Thanks for your reply...ccleaner is not an antivirus...hots file "127.0.0.1 license.piriform.com" is not working anymore.

 

Can you help me to active the  CCleaner Professional / Business 5.86.9258?

@TecMan...I didn't say CCleaner was an antivirus?? Where do you see that at???? I said your antivirus is preventing the hosts file from adding what you was told above to put in there. So disable whatever antivirus you are using and here is a link to CCleaner that definitely works.

Can you confirm me the process installation? 

 

1. Uninstall the current CCleaner

2. Disable whatever antivirus

3. Install your CCleaner 5.86.exe file

4. Check if the CCleaner works fine

5. Enable the antivirus

CCleaner does not require any internet blocking, the license is only checked during automatic renewal and during activation if the license number and ccleaner account are used.
In no other case will the ccleaner license be verified.
Use the license data file and activate manually (during this process must be internet disabled) and update manually and you will have absolutely no problems. Even, if You update manually is also recommended disable internet.
PS. For example, even if you use a driver update, the license will also not be checked. So You can use it without any problems.

Working until now, no nags at all

I always used CCleaner Updater v1.1 By ActVerr to update my CCleaner online, but now its not working for many days

Is there any update of this version, I am unable to find it

CCleaner Activator v2.1.0.8 appears to work.  Only thing is it will reboot the system about one minute after you click on the product you have.  I know it creates the CCleaner.dat file as well as add the following to the hosts file:
127.0.0.1 license.piriform.com
127.0.0.1 license-api.ccleaner.com

There should atleast be a warning if the system was going to reboot automatically but is a reboot even needed when the hosts file is changed?
