man.with.a.plan
Hello, I need help with fixing this problem I'm facing when trying to connect to VPNs on my PC. I'm using my college LAN to connect to IPVanish VPN, but it's not connecting at all. I've tried Windscribe too, which connects after trying different servers for 5-10 minutes. It's frustrating because the LAN cuts off the internet access as soon as I try downloading files using a torrent client and I have to change the MAC address of my PC. Any fix or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
Israeli_Eagle
1. Try a better based DNS, for example 1.1.1.1 2. Try a different protocol, for example WireGuard vs IKEv2 vs OpenVPN And generally make sure that your pings are never too crazy high!

Also it just doesn't connect to any server locations(even the lowest ping ones) With Windscribe(Free) however it takes 4-5 minutes and trying different servers until it connects to one of them. Is IPVanish and other VPNs blocked by my LAN? Could you suggest some other VPNs which could work?
Israeli_Eagle
Hmmm... SurfShark has everything which is available on this planet. And you can get trial for a week, but only possible to activate as phone. Here's the preview and rate: https://www.vpnmentor.com/reviews/surfshark/
