I can't understand why people hate IE8 that much, just because there are better alternatives it doesn't necessarily mean it sucks, I don't think it's THAT bad at all.

:)

no wonder ...

a neighbor to whom i introduced the firefox way of browsing , a few days back ,

exclaimed " damn i dont believe , i had been missing on how good and entertaining and secure and fast web browsing can be. if this is so good,, why doesnt windows has it pre installed into it ? doesnt mr gates care for his customers ???? "

now what should i tell her ??:rofl:

@lohengrin

hmmm...

The recent attacks on Google from China seem to have been caused by a vulnerability in Internet Explorer.Yes, the vulnerability that led to the Google hack still exists in IE 8, but IE 7 and IE 6 are even more insecure in other ways-- cnet.com

i think , IE has a loooonng way to go ... what say ???:think:

Well. As mentioned before, M$ should make a new IE from the start. It will lose some years in the market but they should think about the future.

agreed dkt ...

some wise gentleman told me once -- " see tomorrows loss before today's gain .."

ms should think of the future ...

but just imagine , if they start IE from a new platform , it would take time to reach the market .

and by the time it does come out , firefox would have gone generations ahead ( not to mention all the other alternatives also ) ......:lol:

it would be a real tough job for the IE then , to even have a feel of the ground below !!!!!!! ;)

M$' IE is already in a losing streak... only a miracle would help them pull through :bag:

I think it's too early to say anything. I don't know if I'm anywhere wrong. But M$ would once start thinking/wishing if somehow they could BUY Firefox.
