Framework Laptop Professional

After months of waiting I received my Framework Laptop Pro.  For those unfamiliar with Framework, they produce a laptop where every component is upgradeable/replaceable by the user.  Individual components, like the fan, cpu, etc can be replaced without replacing the mainboard.  You can save a few bucks by

ordering the DIY version and you put the laptop together from scratch.

My laptop is a Core i7-1185G7, 32GB memory, 1TB SSD, WiFi 6 with vPro, and expansion cards running Windows 10 Pro.  There are four expansion slots that use interchangeable cards.  I chose 2xUSB-C, 1 USB-A, 1 MicroSD, 1 Display Port, and 1 HDMI expansion cards.  You have to have at least one USB-C card because that is where the power supply plugs in.  It has a lighted keyboard with three levels of lighting and the camera and mic have on/off switches next to them on the bezel.  The power button is also a fingerprint scanner.

The Pro version is the top of the line and sells for $2100 with the expansion cards I chose.  You can check out the other systems they offer at
