jvidal
the notebook drivers are identical to the desktop drivers. do not download those. you only need the desktop installer for both.

Incorrect, the desktop ones will not install on notebook. Source: My Dell G15. edit: I know the files have identical size, but the desktop ones will pop an error that no compatible hw was found on notebook. I believe this has to do with notebook gpus are Optimus due to how they are shared with the internal gpu and switch, not regular gpu. Probably just some =1 changed to =0 in some .ini in the drivers or something like that. Edited August 10, 2021 by C.G.B. Spender
jvidal
that's probably because your notebook has a Kepler GPU, which is not supported by the latest drivers on mobile. The installers ARE IDENTICAL, their hashes ARE IDENTICAL. they're the exact same file, with just a different name. Please don't argue if you don't know what you are talking about.
