Does anyone know how to change the number of rings before voicemail will begin? Currently, mine rings 12 times before it does which is furiating. I have an LG stylo 4 and my carrier and app is metropcs. Any help is greatly appreciated. it is a certain string something like **61*

TIA

From T-Mobile which owns Metro:

The short code to delay the forwarding to voicemail is **61*18056377243**seconds# (Choose a 5, 10, 15, up to a 30-second delay. For example, dialing **61*18056377243**10#would be for a 10-second delay.)

Tried it and it is not working.

@Betts1964Hi there,
as indicated here,try to check the status of your call forwarding first, using the short code: *#61#

using this you will get a prompt telling you information about the number that your calls are being forwarded to; For metropcs it should be 18056377243
However, you will need to use the number being shown to you in this step for setting the delay time as indicated by @charlienso it would be: **61*<the number you got in the previous step>**<seconds>#

Then it is important to confirm this setting using the green dial button. After that you should get a confirmation that your settings have been updated

So if you get the number 1234 in step 1 then in step 2 you would write: **61*1234**15# and confirm with the green button (for a 15 seconds delay)

You'll find all T-mobile short codes here

Hope this helps!
